Red Sky Health was formed by healthcare and technology startup veterans with a mission to ensure that healthcare providers are properly paid for their services. The first step in our mission is to make sure that health insurance claims denials are rapidly and comprehensively remediated, resubmitted and paid.

 

We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Vice President of Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning to join our team. This person will lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives across the organization. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company’s AI and ML strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Develop a three-year strategic AI roadmap with associated metrics that evolves with rapidly changing technology and competitive updates. 


  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions. 


  • Drive innovation through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and automation technologies. 


  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify AI-driven growth opportunities. 


  • Oversee the architecture of scalable machine learning systems and data pipelines. 


  • Develop and implement model metrics and track over time relative to plan. 


  • Ensure ethical AI practices, data privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards. 


  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for AI/ML projects. 


  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the AI/ML teams.

  • Participate in investor meetings on an as needed basis for model updates. 


 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field. 


  • 10+ years of experience in AI/ML with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 


  • Proven track record of deploying AI/ML solutions at scale in a business environment. 


  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and big data technologies. 


  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. 


  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
